That's why Enlighten will establish licensed cannabis farms in select communities islandwide, collaborating with experienced traditional ganja farmers to create a stable supply of quality compliant medical cannabis. We intend to cultivate cannabis strains specifically selected for their cannabinoid and terpene profiles, producing the highest quality, certified organic flower products for meeting the needs of cannabis patients globally.

Enlighten Cannabis will operate as a vertically integrated company, specializing in organic cultivation, EU-GMP certified processing, and global distribution of exceptional quality, sustainably produced, Jamaican cannabis flower products.

LICENSING
Licensing will be applied for through Jamaica's Cannabis Licensing Authority (CLA). The CLA, an agency of the Ministry of Industry, Investment, and Commerce, was established in 2015 under the Dangerous Drug Amendment Act, (DDA) with a specific role to establish and regulate Jamaica’s legal ganja and hemp industry.

Processing
Partner Growers
Through Enlighten's Partner Grower Program, we will collaborate with experienced traditional ganja farmers. We'll provide training, select genetics, and land for certified organic cannabis cultivation, along with the resources to meet global quality compliant medical cannabis standards.
Farmers will receive a fair price per pound produced as we seek lasting collaborations that serve to benefit both stakeholders and the local community.
Working with leaders in cannabis breeding and seed stabilization, we will research, develop, and cultivate legacy Jamaican cannabis strains carefully chosen for their cannabinoid and terpene profiles.

Throughout Jamaica there are regions with unique micro-climates that provide ideal locations for producing exceptional quality cannabis. For villages within these regions, ganja cultivation is part of community culture, with second and third-generation ganja farmers growing some of the world's finest quality outdoor-grown cannabis.
Enlighten's licensed cannabis farms will be established in select locations island-wide, with flagship production to begin in Westmoreland, in a region widely recognized for growing Jamaica's finest quility ganja.

Enlighten Cannabis is a subsidiary company of Enlighten Development, Inc. based in Atlanta, Georgia, sister city to Montego Bay. Only a two-hour flight to Jamaica, Atlanta offers an ideal location to expand the distribution of Jamaican cannabis flower products to North American markets when/if federal laws permit.
